We need you! We are looking for more matchday volunteers to help with our matchday duties and experience! Can you help?

Football Matchday Volunteer Job Duties

1. Matchday Operations Team:
● Set-Up and Take-Down: Assist with setting up and taking down goals, corner flags, and
other matchday equipment.
● Pitch Preparation: Ensure the pitch is in good condition and checking for any hazards.

2. Stewarding and Crowd Control:
● Entrance Management: Check tickets, manage entry points, and ensure smooth flow of
spectators into the stadium.
● Crowd Safety: Monitor spectator behavior, provide directions, and assist with any issues
that arise to ensure a safe environment.

3. Hospitality and Guest Services:
● VIP and Hospitality Areas: Assist in preparing and serving refreshments to VIPs,
sponsors, and other special guests.
● Welcome Turnstile: Provide information and assistance to spectators, including directions,
seating information, and answering general inquiries.

4. Concessions and Merchandise:
● Food and Beverage Stands: Help in preparing and selling food and drinks to spectators,
maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
● Merchandise Sales: Assist in setting up and operating merchandise stalls, handling sales,
and restocking items as needed.

5. Team Support:
● Player Liaison: Assist with the needs of the players and coaching staff, including
managing equipment and providing water and other essentials.

6. Post-Match Duties:
● Clean-Up: Assist with the post-match clean-up, including collecting litter, packing up
equipment, and ensuring the facility is left in good condition.
● Feedback Collection: Help collect feedback from spectators and volunteers to improve
future matchday experiences.

By fulfilling these duties, matchday volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful operation of football matches, contributing to a positive experience for players,spectators, and staff.

Please note that this is only for HOME match days only. We have approx. 30 home games a year from July to May

ALL VOLUNTEERS WILL GET CLUB MERCHANDISE TO WEAR AT GAMES AND WILL GET FREE FOOD AND REFRESHMENTS
